Hello all!! I'm Destenie. I'm wife to my best friend, Josh and momma to our three kiddos, Lincoln, Wells, and Indie Rey. They drive me crazy in the best of ways and fill my heart with more joy and love than I thought possible.
I know that photography is a gift. I'm always trying to use it in the best way possible, as well as continually looking to improve my skills and ability.
The name Lovely Made was inspired by this verse in Philippians 4:
8 Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.
I try to capture things that are lovely in a way that can be seen and remembered. I want us to see the blessings that have been given us, so that we can hold on tight to them and see them over and over again. I don't know if you're anything like me, but I have to continually remind myself and be reminded of goodness and grace. I want us to see ourselves and our families in light of that.
I love taking pictures and creating images that last a lifetime, but my very favorite part of photography is spending time with and getting to know you all. You start the session as a client, but end it as a friend!
